Crimson Orbit

Crimson Orbit builds outward from a single point just off the canvas — broad painted arcs opening upward in crimson, charcoal and warm grey, crossing one another into wedges of flat colour. Riding across them is a rising line of circles, each one different: one drawn in fine concentric rings, one combed in close parallel strokes, one crosshatched, one caught in a loose continuous scribble. A single thin hand-drawn line threads through three of them and leaves the frame at the bottom edge.

It's a piece with real presence — the kind of work that sets the tone for a room rather than agreeing with it. The palette is disciplined enough to sit against warm neutrals, oak and stone without fighting them, and confident enough to carry a large empty wall on its own.
